TCN4 Controller: How to Set Input Type to PT100 (Video Tutorial)

Introduction

The TCN4 series temperature controller supports a wide range of sensor inputs, including K, J, E-type thermocouples and PT100 RTDs. For accurate and stable temperature monitoring, selecting the correct sensor input is critical.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Power on the controller.

2. Enter advanced configuration mode:

• Press and hold the SET key until the screen shows PAr2.
  
• Release the key.
  

3. Navigate to the input type setting:

• Press the ▲ key to scroll through parameters.
  
• Find and select dPtH.
  
• Press SET briefly once.
  

4. Change the input type to PT100:

• Press and hold SET again for 3–5 seconds.
  
• When the screen displays 100, the input type is now set to PT100.
